The department has several unique requirements, including research and laboratory requirements.

 

NEW MAJOR ONLINE ORIENTATION

All new majors must complete the online orientation PRIOR to calling the Advising Office to set up a pre-registration appointment.

Advising Office

ADVISING
The Psychology Advising Office will help you make important decisions. Need to meet with an advisor? Call our office (412-624-4540) to schedule an appointment!

ASSIGNED ADVISORS

All psychology students will have an assigned advisor. For newly declared students, you will receive an introductory email after the declaration deadline of the term in which you declared. You may contact the advising office at 412-624-4540 after the declaration deadline if you have not received an email verifying who your advisor is. You will see your advisor for all advising appointments and registration.

Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-4:30pm
Friday: 9:00am-12:00pm

Walk-in Advising Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 10:00am-2:00pm
Friday: 9:00am- 12:00pm
