Registering for PSY 1902

  1. The student must approach an instructor who is an expert in the area of interest. If the instructor agrees to direct the reading course, a topic, tentative reading list, and grading system are agreed to. The student and instructor must complete a learning agreement.
  2. The student should make 2 copies of the learning agreement and then take it to the Psychology Advising Office for processing and registration.
  3. The student meets with the instructor at least once a week to discuss the readings. It is recommended that the student prepare written notes and comments on the readings each week.
  4. By the last week of classes, the student submits to the faculty sponsor a final reading list with notes on the readings and any papers written to the instructor.
  5. The instructor reports the grade to the Psychology Advising Office during exam week and forwards a copy of the student's final report to Dr. Cynthia Lausberg, Director of the Advising Office.
