Cynthia Lausberg, Ph.D., Director

Dr. Lausberg oversees the administrative aspects of the advising office, coordinates the Directed Reading, Undergraduate Teaching Assistance Experience and Honors programs for undergraduate majors, and is a faculty member in the psychology department.  She  earned her B.S. in Education and M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling from Penn State University and her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.

Mindy Wolfe, M.A., Associate Director

Mindy has a background as an advisor in the Arts & Sciences Advising Center before serving in the Psychology Advising Office. She has a M.A. in College Student Personnel and a B.A. in Communication from Slippery Rock University. Mindy is the coordinator for PSY 1903, Directed Research, and serves as the liaison with the A&S Advising Center. In addition to seeing students, she also does event and program planning as well as website and database management.

Fran Kincaid, M.Ed., Advisor

Fran earned her B.S. in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and M.Ed. in Guidance Counseling from Duquesne. She has a background in vocational rehabilitation counseling and academic advising.  Fran is the coordinator for PSY 1900, Supervised Field Placement.  In addition to meeting with students, she is responsible for the Advising Office email and voicemail accounts and assisting with departmental events.   

Beth Barthen Braunsdorf, M.A., Advisor

Beth earned her M.A. in Ed. with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University and her B.A. in English from Allegheny College. Prior to joining the Psychology Advising Office, she worked in both undergraduate and graduate admissions as well as graduate student services within the University of Pittsburgh.  Her primary responsibility is meeting with students.
