When I am not working, you will find me somewhere in the great outdoors. I love cycling, gardening, hiking, fishing, and camping. I also enjoy spending downtime with friends and family, drinking coffee, baking, and traveling.

I am broadly interested in using behavioral medicine intervention to improve treatment outcomes in eating and weight disorders. I am particularly interested in the role of personality characteristics associated with self-regulatory deficits in promoting treatment non-responsiveness and how to address such problems. A project I recently completed involved identifying predictors of compensatory changes in energy balance following exercise among overweight and obese, sedentary women. I also am interested in addictive processes and health behaviors during the pregnant and postpartum periods.
