Colloquia 
Pitt’s Department of Psychology has a long tradition of inviting speakers to our colloquium series who are leaders in their field.
Colloquia usually take place on Friday afternoon and are open to all interested parties. Following the colloquia, all are invited to a reception to meet with the speaker.
Brown Bags 
Each of the department's core graduate programs hosts a series of informal lunchtime talks known as Brown Bags. This is a forum for both graduate students and faculty to present and discuss their ongoing work.
