Groups and Organizations Colloquia

Groups and Organizations (GO) is a research network of social scientists in Pittsburgh who are interested in studying how people behave in groups. The network is sponsored by several units at both the University of Pittsburgh (Psychology Department, Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business) and at Carnegie Mellon (Graduate School of Industrial Administration, Social and Decision Sciences, Heinz School of Public Administration).

The main activity of GO is to sponsor a series of colloquia, about a dozen each year, some by local speakers and others by people from other schools around the country. All colloquia are held on Thursday afternoons from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in room 223D of Porter Hall on the CMU campus. Everyone is welcome to attend.
